With four regional offices spanning the country and numerous affiliate organizations—including the American Probation and Parole Association, the Interstate Commission for Adult Offender Supervision, and others—CSG has unparalleled access to state officials. CSG reaches its members through conferences, its website, and its bimonthly news magazine, Capitol Ideas, which reaches 20,000 state leaders. In addition to public safety and justice, other policy areas of CSG include workforce development, education, and economics. As a division of CSG, the CSG Justice Center has unmatched expertise in bringing together different disciplines, community and government groups, and others to develop a results-oriented approach to public safety. To fulfill its mission, the CSG Justice Center helps build essential and lasting collaborations among practice experts, policymakers, and the research community. Since 2009, the CSG Justice Center has administered two national technical assistance centers on behalf of the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Office of Justice Programs and DOJ’s Bureau of Justice Assistance, which have served more than 1,000 adult and juvenile justice grantees in 49 states: the National Reentry Resource Center (NRRC) and the Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Grant Program (JMHCP).
